Strengthening Extraction Efficiency at Minerales Gold — Mining Preparation and Processing Improvements

At Minerales Gold, operational improvements continue across both the mining site and processing infrastructure. Recent work has focused on preparing new extraction zones, optimizing recovery systems, and upgrading the final processing stage to ensure greater efficiency and stability.

Key operational updates

Overburden removal and drainage system installation at the new mining pit

Overburden stripping has been completed at the new mining pit. As part of this work, a drainage system was installed along the perimeter of the pit to control water flow and maintain stable working conditions during extraction.

Optimization of sluice mat configuration

The layout of the recovery mats on the sluices has been reconfigured. Additional sluice channels beneath the butara were brought into operation, increasing the total carpeted recovery surface and improving the capture of fine gold particles.

Modernization of the finishing module

Work is continuing on upgrading the finishing module. Improvements at this stage are designed to increase the efficiency and precision of the final recovery process.

What these improvements achieve

  • Better preparation and stability of the new mining area
  • Expanded recovery surface within the sluice system
  • Improved capture efficiency of fine gold
  • Higher precision in the final processing stage
  • Stronger operational framework for sustained production

At Minerales Gold, continuous technical improvements remain a key part of maintaining efficient and reliable gold recovery operations.
