Expanding Infrastructure and Operational Efficiency at Minerales Gold

At Minerales Gold, we continue to advance core infrastructure to support sustainable production growth, cost optimization, and long-term operational stability.

Development of a New Mining Pit and Access Infrastructure

Ongoing overburden removal

Stripping works are currently underway at the new quarry, preparing the site for active extraction. Removing overburden ensures access to productive material layers and enables controlled mining operations.

Road construction to processing area

A dedicated access road is being constructed to connect the new quarry with the washing site. This will streamline internal logistics, reduce material transport time, and improve operational flow.

The launch of the new quarry is scheduled for February 19.

Hydrotechnical reinforcement works

Dam strengthening and water level regulation

Hydrotechnical works are in progress to reinforce the dam structure. This ensures controlled regulation of accumulated water levels within the reservoirs.

Effective water management is critical for stable washing operations, environmental compliance, and uninterrupted processing cycles.

Connection to the central power grid

Physical integration with the main electricity network

Work has begun on connecting the concession directly to the central power grid.

This strategic upgrade will:

  • Reduce operational energy costs
  • Decrease reliance on autonomous power sources
  • Improve energy stability and supply reliability
  • Enhance overall production economics

What these developments achieve

  • Increased production capacity through expansion of mining zones
  • Improved logistical efficiency within the concession
  • Strengthened water management infrastructure
  • Reduced operating costs through grid electricity integration
  • Stronger foundation for scalable long-term growth

At Minerales Gold, infrastructure development is not an auxiliary process — it is a core driver of operational resilience and sustainable expansion.
